Rio Rancho’s Fiscal Honcho

Olivia Padilla-Jackson, director of the New Mexico Board of Finance, has been named director of Rio Rancho’s financial service department, effective March 1.

Padilla-Jackson has been with the Board of Finance since 2005. Her duties include management of the state’s bond programs, investment of state funds, and providing analysis of proposed state legislation affecting bonds.

She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of New Mexico and a master’s degree from the University of Michigan.

Rio Rancho, a suburb of Albuquerque, is the largest city in Sandoval County with an estimated population of more than 76,000 residents.
