Rhode Island General Treasurer Seth Magaziner is nominating Robert Benson, Marie Langlois and Marcia Reback to the State Investment Commission and Marianne Monte to the State Retirement Board.
The state Senate must confirm the appointments, Magaziner said June 15.
Reback, a reappointment, is a retired president of the Providence Teachers Union and serves on several boards, including the American Federation of Teachers, Holmes Partnership and Providence Central Labor Council.
Benson is senior vice president and chief investment officer at Amica Mutual Insurance Co. and former president of the Providence Society of Financial Analysts. Langlois is a retired managing director of Washington Trust Investors who now serves as chairwoman of the Rhode Island Foundation Investment Committee.
Monte is vice president of human resources at Hanover Insurance Group and member of the Gay & Lesbian Advocates and Defenders' board of directors.
