Nov. ISM-NY Current Business Index Declines to 60.7

New York City business activity "moderated to a still healthy pace," in November, as the current business conditions index slipped to 60.7, from 65.8 in October, the Institute for Supply Management-New York's Report on Business index, released Wednesday, indicated.

A reading above 50.0 indicates expansion. The employment index is published on a seasonally adjusted basis.

The report's six-month outlook index fell to 66.0 in November from 74.0 in October. The NY-BCI, a cumulative diffusion index, increased to 710.6 from 705.3.

The prices paid composite index gained to 62.5 from 46.2, prices received composite index climbed to 50.0 from 40.9, the quantity of purchases composite index increased to 46.7 from 46.2, employment declined to 39.9 from 46.3, the current month's revenues index rose to 57.1 from 54.2, and the expected level of revenues soared to 71.4 from 58.3.
