NEW YORK – The seasonally adjusted Milwaukee Report on Business crept up to 56.7 in October from 55.5 in October, according to the Institute for Supply Management-Milwaukee.
New orders received rose to 66.2 from 50.6, production soared to 60.8 from 46.4, employment slid to 60.4 from 61.3, supplier deliveries fell to 47.8 from 55.8, and backlog of orders gained to 44.6 from 41.7.
Inventory levels slumped to 48.2 from 63.2, customers’ inventories fell to 29.6 from 32.3, prices slumped to 51.8 from 58.1, exports increased to 46.3 from 45.2 and imports surged to 51.9 from 37.1.
