June Personal Income Up 0.1%; PCE Rises 0.6%

Personal income increased 0.1%, and disposable personal income decreased 1.9%, in June, according to the Bureau of Economic Analysis. Personal consumption expenditures increased 0.6%.

In May personal income increased 1.8%, DPI increased 5.7%, and PCE increased 0.8%, based on revised estimates.

Real disposable income decreased 2.6% in June compared with an increase of 5.2% in May. Real PCE decreased 0.2% compared with an increase of 0.3%.
