Sherri Stephens

Sherri Stephens is a financial consultant and the president of Stephens Wealth Management Group. A Registered Investment Advisor agent with over 30 years of industry experience, Sherri is frequently looked to for her knowledge of our industry.\nSherri has been a leading member of the RJFS Chairman’s Council (the firm’s highest recognition) for almost two decades. In 2003 and 2004, Sherri was named one of the “Top-Ranked Woman Advisors in America” by Research magazine which also inducted her into its “Advisors’ Hall of Fame” in 2011. From 2004 through 2009, Medical Economics named her “one of the 150 Best Financial Advisors for Doctors,” and she has been on Barron’s prestigious Top 100 Women Advisors list for the past six years.\nSherri has been quoted in many publications including On Wall Street, Registered Rep., InvestmentNews, The Flint Journal and USA Today, to name a few.\nA graduate of the University of Michigan-Flint, Sherri was nominated in 2001 and 2002 for Flint’s most prestigious recognition of women’s achievements in business and community involvement—The Athena Award. A strong believer in giving back to her community, Sherri commits time and talent to many public charities and non-profit organizations. Sherri is a former chairman for the Community Foundation of Greater Flint and is on its investment committee, managing over $100 million. She was formerly a board member of Fentura Financial, Inc., a bank holding company, and is on the Board of Directors for McLaren Hospital of Flint, Michigan.\nStephens Wealth Management Group regularly employs college interns and high school students as temporary, yet integral members of the staff. Sherri joined the firm she now owns as an intern in 1975. During her seventeen year tenure as owner, the firm has tripled in size.
