Robert C. Burch is Key's Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), effective August 27th, 2012. Rob manages the Corporate Information Security group and is directly responsible for the following areas of Information Security at Key:Global & Domestic Third Party SecuritySecurity Engineering and ArchitectureCyber Security (including Forensics and Litigation Support)Security Operations Center (SOC) / Related ServicesIntrusion Detection & Prevention Services (IDS/IPS)Cyber Incident ResponseData Loss PreventionAnti-Phishing Solutions / Social Engineering TestingAdvanced Malware DetectionEnd-point and Network SecurityDistributed Denial of Service (DDoS) PreventionIdentity and Access ManagementPhysical Security Posture AssessmentsCyber Vulnerability AssessmentsInformation Security Policies/Standards/Guidelines/ProcessesManaged Security Service Providers (MSSP)Prior to joining Key, Rob led the Information Security and Technology Governance programs at Regions Bank since 2008. He was instrumental in the development of the Vendor Risk Management program at Regions, as well as the maturity of their core Information Security solutions including enterprise policies and standards, security engineering, and IT change/risk management to name a few. He also championed the implementation and management of Regions first Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) solution, requiring the coordination of Operational Risk Management and related disciplines. Rob has nearly 20 years of experience in financial services, primarily in the Information Security space, supporting Technology, Risk and Security. Prior to Regions, Rob worked for PNC Bank in Pittsburgh, where he was Director of the Internet Technology Group and later the Director of Information Security and Security Strategy. While at PNC, Rob implemented their first Security Operations Center, including vital security practices such as IDS/IPS, 3rd party monitoring, Forensics, Malware Detection, Cyber Security, Incident Response and number of other core programs. Rob received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from West Liberty University.
