The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $35 billion of two-year notes with a 1/4% coupon at a 0.270% yield, a price of 99.960135.
The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.07%
Tenders at the high yield were allotted 12.99%.
The median yield was 0.261%. The low yield was 0.204%.
Tenders totaled $142,354,108,800 and the Treasury accepted $35,000,071,500, including $150,708,800 non-competitive.
The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
The two-year notes are dated Nov. 30 and due Nov. 30, 2014.
