Treasury Year Bills Go At 0.180% High Rate

The Treasury Department Wednesday auctioned $25 billion of 364-day bills at a 0.180% high yield, a price of 99.818000.

The coupon equivalent was 0.183%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 5.08.

Tenders at the high rate were allotted 24.71%. The median yield was 0.175%. The low yield was 0.165%.

The bills have an issue date of Nov. 15 and are due Nov. 14, 2013.

Tenders totaled $127,075,586,100 and the Treasury accepted $25,001,902,100, including $175,836,100 non-competitive.

The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
