Treasury Year Bills Go At 0.180% High Rate

The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $25 billion of 364-day bills at a 0.180% high yield, a price of 99.818000.

The coupon equivalent was 0.183%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.86.

Tenders at the high rate were allotted 56.67%. The median yield was 0.175%. The low yield was 0.165%.

The bills have an issue date of Oct. 18 and are due Oct. 17, 2013.

Tenders totaled $121,537,322,700 and the Treasury accepted $25,000,490,300, including $144,322,000 non-competitive.

The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
