The Treasury Department said Monday it will sell $45 billion of four-week discount bills on Tuesday.
There are currently $74.999 billion of four-week bills outstanding.
The bills have an issue date of Dec. 14 and are due Jan. 11, 2018.
Federal Reserve banks hold nothing in maturing bills in their own accounts.
