Treasury to Sell $40B 4-Week Bills

NEW YORK - The Treasury Department said Tuesday it will sell $40 billion of four-week discount bills Wednesday.

There are currently $55.988 billion of four-week bills outstanding.

The bills settle Feb. 23 and are due March 22.

Federal Reserve banks hold $6.285 billion in maturing bills in their own accounts.
