The Treasury Department yesterday said it will sell $24 billion of four-week discount bills today.

There are currently $55.416 billion of four-week, or 28-day, bills outstanding.

The bills have an issue date of May 8 and are due June 5.

Federal Reserve banks hold $5.141 billion of maturing bills in their own accounts.
