NEW YORK — The Treasury Department today auctioned $28 billion of four-week bills at a 2.360% high yield, a price of 99.816444.
The coupon equivalent was 2.404%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.73.
Tenders at the high rate were allotted 75.56%. The median yield was 2.290%. The low yield was 2.240%.
The bills have an issue date of Feb. 21 and are due March 20.
Tenders totaled $76,433,000,000 and the Treasury accepted $27,479,000,000, including $476,000,000 non-competitive.
The Federal Reserve banks bought $5,035,000,000 for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
