Monday, Sept. 22
The Treasury will auction $27 billion of 92-day bills and $27 billion of 182-day discount bills. The 92-day bills are dated Sept. 25 and due Dec. 26, and the 182-day bills are dated Sept. 25 and due March 26, 2009.
The Treasury will announce the auction of $32 billion of two-year notes and $23 billion of five-year notes.

 

Tuesday, Sept. 23
The Treasury will auction $20 billion of 52-week bills that are dated Sept. 25 and due Sept. 24, 2009.

Wednesday, Sept. 24
Existing home sales figures for September are released by the National Association of Realtors.
The Treasury will auction $32 billion of two-year notes.

Thursday, Sept. 25
Initial jobless claims for the week ending Sept. 20 are announced by the Labor Department.
Durable goods order, shipment, and inventory figures for August are released by the Commerce Department.
New home sales figures for August are released by the Commerce Department.
The Treasury will auction $23 billion of five-year notes.

Friday, Sept. 26
Final gross domestic product figures for the second quarter are released by the Commerce Department.
Final consumer sentiment figures for September are released by the University of Michigan.
