The Treasury will auction $24 billion of 91-day bills and $25 billion of 182-day discount bills. The 91-day bills are dated May 6 and due Aug. 5. The 182-day bills are dated May 6 and due Nov. 4. Currently, there are $26.006 billion of 91-day bills outstanding and no 182-day bills.

Personal income and spending figures for March are released by the Commerce Department.

Construction spending figures for March are released by the Commerce Department.

 

Tuesday, May 4
Pending home sales figures for March are released by the National Association of Realtors.

Factory order, shipment and inventory figures for March are released by the Commerce Department.

The Treasury will auction $26 billion of one-year bills. The 52-week bills are dated May 6 and due May 5, 2011.

 

Thursday, May 6
Initial jobless claims for the week ending May 1 are released by the Labor Department.

Preliminary productivity and cost figures for the first quarter are released by the Labor Department.

 

Friday, May 7
Employment data for April is released by the Labor Department.

Consumer credit figures for March are released by the Treasury Department.
