The Treasury auctions $27 billion of 91-day bills and $24 billion of 182-day discount bills. The 91-day bills are dated May 26 and due Aug. 25. The 182-day bills are dated May 26 and due Nov. 24. Currently, there are $55.002 billion of 91-day bills outstanding and no 182-day bills.

Tuesday, May 24
New home sales figures for April are released by the Commerce Department.
The Treasury auctions $35 billion of two-year notes that are dated May 31 and due May 31, 2013.

Wednesday, May 25
Durable goods figures for April are released by the Commerce Department.
The Treasury auctions $35 billion of five-year notes that are dated May 31 and due May 31, 2016.
 
Thursday, May 26
Initial jobless claims figures for the week ending May 21 are released by the Labor Department.
Preliminary gross domestic product figures for the first quarter of 2011 are released by the Commerce Department.
The Treasury Department auctions $29 billion of seven-year notes that are dated May 31 and due May 31, 2018.

Friday, May 27
Personal income and spending figures for April are released by the Commerce Dept. 
Pending home sales figures for April are released by the National Association of Realtors.
Final consumer sentiment figures for May are released by the University of Michigan.
