Roderick Devlin has joined law firm Nixon Peabody LLP as a partner in its infrastructure practice.

Devlin, who works in New York, focuses his practice on public-private partnerships and project finance transactions, notably the financing, structuring, construction, , operation and maintenance and acquisition of infrastructure assets.

Previously, he was a partner at Squire Patton Boggs for four years, also in New York, and before that, Greenberg Traurig LLP.

His portfolio of clients includes lenders, project sponsors, institutional investors, government municipalities and construction companies.

“Roddy’s skill set and experience boosts our ability to assist clients in implementing a wide-variety of financing solutions and navigating the changing regulatory and financial landscape.”

Devlin advised the bond issuer in connection with the multi-source financing of New York’s LaGuardia Airport’s Terminal B P3 project, the largest bond issuance to-date for a U.S. P3 deal.

He has advised on projects including the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport P3 program, the Westchester Airport P3 Project in New York, the Los Angeles International Airport Automated People Mover, the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway project in Virginia, and the I-70 East project in Colorado.

“Roddy is well-known as an innovator in the P3 industry,” said Joe Lynch, managing partner of the New York City office.

Devlin, who has published numerous articles and has spoken at industry events, earned law degrees from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, and the University of Pennsylvania.
