New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo has subpoenaed Wall Street firms for information about their auction-rate securities transactions. Cuomo wanted to know when firms stepped in to support auctions and prevent them from failing and the extent to which firms marketed their auction-rate securities as cash-like investments.
