The Federal Reserve announced Friday it will auction $50 billion of 28-day term auction facility credits on March 10 and again on March 24.

The Fed noted the amount of the auction increased to $50 billion from $30 billion and said it will increase these auction sizes further if conditions warrant.

The Fed said it will continue TAF auctions for the next six months unless market conditions indicate they are no longer necessary.
