DALLAS - After only a few months in the post, the chairwoman of Dallas Area Rapid Transitresigned last week following allegations about a purportedly forged document she presented to avoid repaying a personal debt.

Lynn Flint Shawhad been chair of the agency since her colleagues named her to the post in October. She had been a DART board member since 2003. Vice chairman Randall Chrismanwill assume the post and finish the term, which expires in October.
