Chicago PMI Drops To 56.7 in September

The Chicago Purchasing Managers reported the Chicago Business Barometer confirmed the August surge with a solid 56.7 reading.

The prices paid index was above 80 for the eighth month this year. Employment approached neutral. The production index jumped another eight points. In the buying policy, lead time for capital equipment rocketed.
