Rosemawr Management seeks an Origination Banker
Rosemawr Management, a leading alternative investment firm focused on municipal and not-for-profit credit, seeks an origination banker.
The individual will originate and execute private placement deals in which Rosemawr will invest. The borrowers will initially be primarily charter schools, with the individual’s focus likely to expand to other types of borrowers over time. Responsibilities will include reviewing bond and security documents, participating in credit underwriting and investment decision-making, and managing the process of bond issuance.
A successful candidate is intimately familiar with how 501(c)3 bonds are issued and is able to steer the various parties in the process (bond counsel, purchaser’s counsel, the conduit issuer and others) to a successful bond closing. The candidate likely gained their skills by working for 3-7 years as a public finance banker, or, alternatively, as a public finance associate at a law firm. Specific experience with charter schools is a plus.
Rosemawr offers competitive pay and benefits, as well as a dynamic, collegial, diverse work environment. We are located in Midtown Manhattan; however, we are open to a remote work arrangement with a candidate located anywhere in the U.S. Email resume and cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org.
