William LeRoy

President & Chief Executive Officer

Mr. LeRoy is a seasoned legal and mortgage banking professional with over two decades of executive management experience in the fields of Law Firm Operations, Technology Solutions and Mortgage Loan Servicing. In the mortgage loan servicing arena, his experience encompassed the administration of residential default servicing functions; including collections, foreclosures, bankruptcies, loss mitigation, claims, real estate owned, investor reporting, securitization and investor accounting. He is the President and CEO of the American Legal and Financial Network. In his current position, he oversees all corporate initiatives for the corporation, and has aligned the organization to be the largest and most influential of its kind in the mortgage banking industry. A well known writer, Mr. LeRoy is nationally recognized for his “out of the box” thinking and innovative approach to problem solving. His articles deal with the resolution of systemic issues affecting the financial services industry. Mr. LeRoy holds a founding member seat on the Coalition for Mortgage Industry Solutions Board of Directors. Mr. LeRoy is the creator and host of the ALFN’s bi-monthly Legal Update Program, which provides the mortgage banking community with precise digests of breaking national cases and matters of strategic concern. In his prior legal career, Mr. LeRoy enjoyed senior management positions with the national law firms of Katten, Muchin, Zavis & Weitzman and Lewis, D'Amato, Brisbois & Bisgaard LLP. In the early 90’s he was a founding principal of Mortgage Default Service’s Inc., a California Trustee. He later became Vice President of ARM Financials National Post Foreclosure Operations, a division of the LOG’s Financial Group. He was a Director of Strategic Product Development with the London England Based, Global Technology Company’s Loan Servicing Division of the London Bridge Group. Mr. LeRoy also owned and operated a national consulting firm specializing in the due diligence activities associated with defaulting loan portfolio transfers between loan servicing companies. Mr. LeRoy currently holds memberships in the Residential and Commercial Mortgage Banking Associations, National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association, and the Coalition for Mortgage Lending Solutions, California Mortgage Bankers Association, REOMAC, NHEMA, NALTEA, The National Housing Association, and MISMO.
