Maria C. Coyne is Executive Vice President of the Branch Network at KeyBank, as well as a member of KeyCorp�s Executive Council.� She is the founder and leader of the bank�s Key4Women program for women business owners.� Maria has previously served in various other leadership capacities in Consumer, Business Banking and Client Experience.In 2001, Maria joined KeyBank as a senior vice president in the strategic planning group.� Previously, she was a small business strategist with the Greater Cleveland Growth Association and spent more than 10 years with Bank One, serving in various management capacities before becoming director of marketing.�Maria holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance degree from the University of Notre Dame. Maria was awarded a certificate for completion of The Key Executive Experience at Case Western Reserve University�s Weatherhead School of Management.�She is an expert and thought leader on consumer banking and small business topics and has been featured in national publications including The Wall Street Journal, CNN, NPR, SmartMoney.com, Enterprising Women, BusinessWeek SmallBiz, and American Banker.� Maria has been recognized as one of American Banker�s Top 25 Women to Watch of 2011 and 2012 and in 2013, Maria has been named #18 on the Most Powerful Women in Banking list.Maria is a member of the Board of Directors for the Consumer Bankers Association (CBA), based in Washington, D.C.� She is also a member of the following organizations:� The Board of Directors for the Women�s President�s Organization (WPO), and the Forbes Executive Women (FEW) board, based in New York, N.Y. In Cleveland, Maria is a member of the MacDonald Women�s Health Leadership Council for the University Hospitals Health System, the Finance Council for the Cleveland Catholic Diocese, and the Sovereign Order of St. John, Knights Hospitaller.� She is also a founding member of United Way�s Women�s Leadership Council.Maria is the recipient of several awards, including the YWCA �Women of Professional Excellence� Award, The Diversity Journal�s �Women Worth Watching Award,� �The Beaumont Award,� and the KeyBank Diversity Excellence Award.
