Division Leader, Mass Affluent Segment

Kathryn Black is a Division Leader, Mass Affluent Segment for Wells Fargo. Kathryn has fifteen years in banking, eleven years with NationsBank and Bank of America, two years with Wachovia and two years with Wells Fargo following the merger. Kathryn has a broad range of banking experience including brand and product marketing, sales strategy, field sales and sales leadership, product development, product management. In her current position she manages High Value Deposits (product management for CDs, IRAs, Money Market Deposit Accts, PMA - premium checking package) with combined balances of ~ $235B. Additionally, Black manages the Sales Effectiveness Team responsible for product marketing, deposits content review in all collateral and online, deposits training and communications to bankers, and regional sales support. Prior to the Wells Fargo merger she was the Savings Director for Wachovia managing deposit pricing and savings product management (regular savings accounts, money market deposit accounts, CDs and IRAs) and was part of the team that developed and launched Way2Save. Kathryn has an MBA from Kenan Flagler Business School at UNC Chapel Hill and serves on the Board of Trustees for Queens University of Charlotte.
