Jim Francis

Appointed to the role of Executive Vice President/Head of Consumer Lending for Union Bank in 2009, Jim Francis oversees consumer�lending for Retail Banking, with responsibility for the bank�s�consumer and residential loan portfolio. Jim has more than 27 years of banking experience and a comprehensive knowledge of debt and equity transactions, tax credit investments, underwriting, residential mortgage, and commercial and consumer lending. He has served as a board member of the California Community Reinvestment Corporation and as a president and board member of the Affordable Housing Investors Council, an organization comprised of the nation�s largest Low Income Housing Tax Credit investors. He also serves on the board of Union Bank Foundation. Jim received his B.A. in economics from the University of California at Davis.
