Connie Payne, AAP, CTP

Connie Payne is senior vice president and manager of the Online Product team within the Treasury Management Division at Regions Bank.� In her current position she manages the team responsible for the online product solutions that serves both small businesses and commercial clients.Regions Financial Corporation, with $118 billion in assets, is a member of the S&P 500 Index and is one of the nation�s largest full-service providers of consumer and commercial banking, wealth management, mortgage and insurance products and services. Regions serves customers in 16 states across the South, Midwest and Texas, and through its subsidiary, Regions Bank, operates approximately 1,700 banking offices and 2,000 ATMs.With 30 years of banking experience, Connie has held a variety of banking roles. She started her career with AmSouth Bank (now Regions) where she served as a Treasury Management Product Manager then ACH Operations Manager.� She went on to serve in leadership roles at SouthTrust and SunTrust before returning to Regions.Connie earned a B.S. in Accounting and Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.Connie obtained her Certified Cash Manager (now CTP, Certified Treasury Professional) accreditation in 1991 from the Association of Financial Professionals.� She also earned the Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) designation in 1998 from NACHA, the Electronic Payments Association.� She has served as president of the Alabama Treasury Management Association (ATMA) and has been a speaker at various industry conferences.
