Andrea Turner Moffitt is a national thought leader on women investors. Her new book Harness the Power of the Purse: Winning Women Investors is the culmination of three years of research on women investors across six countries. She also co-authored a groundbreaking global study on women investors in partnership with the diversity think-tank the Center for Talent Innovation where she serves as a senior managing director. Her work has been featured in the Forbes, Harvard Business Review, Inc., New York Times, and the Wall Street Journey. \nTurner Moffitt is also the co-founder of 1000 Strong, a modern platform inspiring women to be more confident investors through online content, in-person events and experiential learning with a focus on advancing women entrepreneurs. With a decade of experience on Wall Street in investment banking and asset management, she worked globally at Citibank and earlier in her career she helped build a hedge fund and financed high growth technology companies. An honors graduate from Columbia Business School and the School of International and Public Affairs, Turner Moffitt earned her BA from Tulane University. She is the co-chair of Columbia Business School's Social Enterprise Alumni Circle, a board member of Tulane University's Center for Engaged Learning and Teaching and is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
