Alexandra Dousmanis-Curtis is Group Head, U.S. Retail and Business Banking. Ms. Dousmanis-Curtis is responsible for driving the bank’s strategy in the U.S. retail and business banking segments to maximize customer and shareholder value and achieve market-leading business growth, while building customer relationships and loyalty. Most recently, Ms. Dousmanis-Curtis was Executive Vice President and Head,Retail Banking, BMO Harris Bank. In this role she was responsible for leading the performance and strategic delivery of a broad range of personal banking products and services to individuals and small businesses. Prior to that role, Ms. Dousmanis-Curtis was the Senior Vice President, BMO Harris Private Banking – Canada and Asia. She was responsible for driving market growth and enhancing client experience and employee satisfaction, as well as the full integration of CIBC’s Asian private banking business into BMO Harris Private Banking. From 2007 to 2012, Ms. Dousmanis-Curtis was the Senior Vice President for the Personal and Commercial business in the Greater Toronto Division and the Customer Contact Centers located throughout Canada. Ms. Dousmanis-Curtis is a strong advocate for enhancing local communities and supporting organizations that are bringing meaningful change. In Chicago, she serves on the boards of the Urban League and Lyric Opera. In the Canadian province of Ontario, she sits on the board of Providence Healthcare Foundation. She is a member of The Chicago Network.Ms. Dousmanis-Curtis has continued to build her formal education with business and leadership studies at Harvard Business School, University of Toronto, University of Michigan and Duke University.
