Former New York Lieutenant Gov. Richard Ravitch will speak at the New York Transit Museum in downtown Brooklyn. N.Y., at 7 p.m. Oct. 9.
The venue has changed from One Metrotech Center. The museum is in a decommissioned subway station at Boerum Place and Schermerhorn Street.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and a book signing will follow the program.
WNYC senior editor Andrea Bernstein will interview Ravitch, who chaired the Metropolitan Transportation Authority from 1979 to 1983 and wrote the memoir book: "So Much to Do: A Full Life of Business, Politics, and Confronting Fiscal Crises."
