Jerry Brown Reappoints One to California EFA

PHOENIX - Stacy Lewis Daher has been reappointed to the California Educational Facilities Authority, the body responsible for approving conduit bond issues for universities.

Gov. Jerry Brown announced the appointment Friday.

Daher, a Democrat, has served on the CEFA board since 2012, and has been associate vice president of the Office of Finance and Treasury at the University of San Francisco since 2010. She was a senior associate of audit and business advisory services at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP from 1998 to 2001. Daher earned a Master of Accounting degree from Saint Louis University.

This position does not require Senate confirmation and there is no compensation. State Treasurer John Chiang and Controller Betty Yee are also authority members, along with the state's director of finance and another appointed member.
