Connecticut Issues Private Investment Consulting RFP

Connecticut Treasurer Denise Nappier's office has issued a request for proposals for private investment consulting services.

Deadline for submitting a response is noon Jan. 9, according to the RFP posted on Nov. 24.

Connecticut Treasury has a combined investment portfolio of roughly $29.7 billion, and a private investment fund of about $2.8 billion.

According to Nappier's presentation to the Investment Advisory Council in September, her office expects to award the contract on Sept. 1, 2015.

Nappier said the state's contract with its existing consultant, Franklin Park Associates of Bala Cynwyd, Pa., was extended to Sept. 30 of that year. Franklin Park is free to bid again, said a state Treasury official.
