Wilmington Trust promoted Patrick Tadie to division manager of its capital markets structured finance group, which provides agency and trustee services to the asset backed, mortgage backed, project finance, transportation leasing, and insurance-backed related markets.

Tadie joined Wilmington Trust in 2014 as group vice president in the structured finance group. He was responsible for global product development and global strategy for the capital markets group, as well as managing the CMSF sales team.

"We're very pleased that Patrick will be overseeing our structured finance business as division manager," said Jack Beeson, head of the global capital markets division at Wilmington. "Patrick has distinguished himself as a strong, capable leader both at Wilmington Trust and in the structured finance industry. I can't think of anyone better suited for this leadership role."

Tadie has nearly 30 years' experience in finance. Previously, as a member of BNY Mellon's operating committee, he led the global structured finance group, then the global derivatives division, and was global head of product and strategy, as well as chief credit officer for the corporate trust group. He was a portfolio manager at Freddie Mac, led the structured finance business at both First Union and Prudential home mortgage, and began his career at JP Morgan where he completed the bank's financial management program.
