Securities Litigation Veteran Joins Richards Kibbe & Orbe LLP

Steven Paradise, a veteran securities and regulations specialist, has joined Richards Kibbe & Orbe LLP as a partner in the litigation group.

Formerly a co-head of the securities litigation and enforcement practice at Vinson & Elkins, Paradise will be headquartered in New York as one of Richards Kibbe's 65 lawyers, the firm announced this week. The firm also has offices in Washington and London.

Paradise focuses on representing issuers, underwriters, directors, and officers in securities-related litigation, according to a press release.

In his 25-year career, he has represented individual and corporate defendants in securities class action litigation, government, and internal investigations, and regulatory proceedings before the Securities & Exchange Commission, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and other law enforcement and regulatory agencies.

"Steven will be a tremendous asset to our financial services clients, and will add even more depth to our areas of traditional strength," said Lee Richards, a partner and co-founder of RKO.

"Steven has a world-class reputation for his work on complex litigation, enforcement proceedings, and investigatory matters, including extensive work for investment funds and financial services firms," said Managing Partner Jennifer Grady. "His skills align perfectly with the needs of our clients."

Paradise also has worked on Big Four accounting firms, Fortune 500 companies, and financial services firms in commercial litigation matters.
