Kent Lawrence Hired to Open JPM's First Public Finance Office in N.C.

JPMorgan said it appointed Kent Lawrence, formerly of Citi, as managing director to head the Southeast Group.

Lawrence will be opening JPMorgan's first public finance office in North Carolina, which will be based in Raleigh.

Lawrence, who spent the past 15 years as the co-head of Citi's Mid-Atlantic Region, will report to Jamison Feheley, head of banking in public finance for JPMorgan.

"With more than 20 years of public finance experience, Kent brings a wealth of talent and leadership to the department with strong client relationships that will be immediately additive to our new business efforts," Feheley said. "We are very excited to be investing in the southeast region as we continue to strategically grow our exceptional public finance business."
