Stark County, Ohio, Upgraded to Aa2 by Moody's

Moody's Investors Service said it has upgraded Stark County, Ohio's general obligation limited tax rating to Aa2 from Aa3.

The county has $10.9 million of outstanding GOLT debt all of which is rated by Moody's.

The Aa2 rating reflects the county's sizeable taxable valuation, below average socioeconomic profile, prudent financial management resulting in strong reserve levels, minimal debt burden with an above average amortization schedule, and a moderate pension burden.
