Selma, Texas, Upgraded to AA by S&P

Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said it raised its long-term rating to AA from AA-minus on Selma, Texas' general obligation debt outstanding.

At the same time, Standard & Poor's assigned its AA long-term rating to the city's series 2015 GO bonds. The outlook is stable.

"The upgrade is due primarily to the city's further strengthened wealth and income levels," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Lauren Spalten.
