Seguin, Texas, Utility Revs Upgraded to A-plus by S&P

Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said it has raised its rating on Seguin, Texas' combined utility system revenue debt to A-plus from A.

At the same time, Standard & Poor's assigned its A-plus rating to the city's series 2014 combined utility system revenue bonds. The outlook is stable.

"The upgrade reflects a record of what we consider solid coverage of fixed costs and strong liquidity that we believe will continue under a new power supply contract," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Jeffrey Panger.
