Philadelphia Fed Non-Mfg Regional Index Falls to 41.2 in Nov.

The region's non-manufacturing sector declined in November, as the general business conditions index slipped to 41.2 from 50.0 in October, this month's Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia Report on Business indicates.

At the company level, the general business activity index fell to 41.2 from 44.1.

The prices paid index was 23.5, down from 26.5 last month, new orders index fell to 29.4 from 35.3, sales or revenues slid to 32.4 from 38.2, the unfilled orders index climbed to 14.7 from 11.8, the inventories index dropped to 8.8 from 17.6, prices received jumped to 17.6 from 14.7, the number of full time employees index rose to 14.7 from 11.8, the number of part time employees index slid to 35.3 from 38.2, and the average employee workweek fell to 23.5 from 29.4.

The six months from now regional general business conditions index declined to 76.5 from 94.1 in last month's survey, while the company general business conditions index fell to 64.7 from 79.4.
