Construction spending increased 1.0% in October, the Commerce Department said Tuesday, and is 13.0% above the October 2014 level.
In September, construction spending rose 0.6%.
Spending on private construction grew 0.8% in the month, while public construction gained 1.4%.
Residential construction gained 1.0%.
