NAHB Housing Index Dips to 63 in Oct.

Builders’ confidence in the market for new single-family homes was lower as the National Association of Home Builders' housing market index fell to 63 in October from 65 in September.

Thomson Reuters' poll of economists correctly predicted the index would be 63.

The September reading was the lowest since August, when it was 59.
