Milwaukee ISM Index Slips to 45.3 in Nov.

The seasonally adjusted Milwaukee Report on Business declined to 45.3 in November from 46.7 in October, the Institute for Supply Management-Milwaukee reported Monday.

New orders received fell to 39.6 from 46.7, production slid to 47.1 from 48.9, employment decreased to 48.2 from 51.4, supplier deliveries rose to 48.9 from 46.7, and backlog of orders dipped to 39.3 from 40.0.

Inventory levels gained to 42.9 from 41.4, customers' inventories dropped to 50.0 from 53.6, prices decreased to 21.4 from 23.3, exports grew to 50.0 from 33.3 and imports remained at 50.0.

The blue collar diffusion index climbed to 44.5 from 41.4, while the white collar diffusion index fell to 51.9 from 55.1.
