Milwaukee ISM Index Rises to 54.11 in Nov.

The seasonally adjusted Milwaukee Report on Business gained to 54.11 in November from 47.46 in October, the Institute for Supply Management-Milwaukee reported Wednesday.

New orders received gained to 64.87 from 47.67, production grew to 53.16 from 46.59, employment decreased to 45.58 from 54.34, supplier deliveries gained to 55.23 from 45.83, and backlog of orders soared to 62.00 from 42.50.

Inventory levels climbed to 51.72 from 42.86, customers' inventories increased to 47.73 from 44.74, prices rose to 50.00 from 42.86, exports jumped to 52.78 from 43.33, and imports fell to 50.00 from 57.69.

The blue collar diffusion index slid to 51.3 from 51.9, while the white collar diffusion index decreased to 51.3 from 59.3.
