Final Nov. U. of Mich. Index at 93.1 vs. 90.0 in Oct.

The University of Michigan's final November consumer sentiment index reading was 93.1, compared to the preliminary November 93.1, and the final October 90.0, according to market sources.

The expectations index was 82.9, compared to the preliminary November 85.6, and the final October 82.1.

The current conditions index was 104.3, compared to the preliminary November 104.8, and the final October 102.3.

Economists polled by Thomson Reuters had predicted a 93.0 reading for the main index and 85.7 for expectations.

The five-year inflation expectation index was 2.6%, compared to 2.5% in October, while the one-year inflation expectation index was 2.7%, compared to 2.7% in October.

The University of Michigan index is not released to the press, but only to paying subscribers.
