Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said it raised its long-term rating to A-plus from A on Cascade, Iowa's series 2012B general obligation corporate purpose bonds.
The outlook is stable.
"The raised rating is based on the city's very strong flexibility and liquidity," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Antionette Maxwell.
