Gavin Murphy
Gavin Murphy is editor in chief at The Bond Buyer newspaper based in New York City. At The Bond Buyer he works with a team of journalists who cover the municipal bond market and trends in public finance. Murphy is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Master of Business Administration (MBA). He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany with a B.A. in Rhetoric & Communication and a second field in Journalism.

Randall Jensen
Randall Jensen covers the Far West as a reporter for The Bond Buyer. Before SourceMedia, he worked for two years as the Shanghai bureau chief for AFX covering business and economics. He also spent the prior two years as an editor and correspondent for Interfax in Shanghai. Stateside, Randall reported for Bay City News in San Francisco and the Palo Alto Daily News.
Taylor Riggs
Taylor Riggs is the underwriters & dealers reporter for The Bond Buyer, covering municipal bond underwriters and insurers. She previously worked at FundFire a Financial Times publication covering institutional asset managers. She also worked for Institutional Investor News covering institutional investors, primarily public and corporate pension funds. Although she is a California girl at heart, she moved to New York to study journalism at NYU and has lived here ever since.
Gary Siegel
Gary Siegel has been a reporter and editor at The Bond Buyer since 1989. He specializes in economic indicators and the Federal Reserve.
James Ramage
I arrived at The Bond Buyer after almost four years at Traders Magazine, where I wrote about the process and technology behind how institutions trade equities. Prior to that, I was a reporter at two daily newspapers, in southern California and in northwestern Louisiana, covering a variety of beats over several years. Before that, I graduated from Columbia Universitys Graduate School of Journalism. Ive also done some fact-checking, writing and editing over the years for Kiplingers Personal Finance, CNET and ESPN The Magazine. I received a B.A. in history from the University of California, Berkeley.

Jim Watts
A native of West Texas. I have worked as an editor and reporter at newspapers and magazines in Arkansas and Texas since graduating from The University of Texas at Austin with a journalism degree in 1976. I have been with The Bond Buyer as a reporter in the Southwest Bureau since August 2004, covering Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas.
Yvette Shields
Yvette Shields joined The Bond Buyer as a reporter in Chicago covering the Midwest in 1997. She became Midwest bureau chief a year later. Yvette graduated from Columbia College in Chicago where she was a journalism major and went to work for the storied City News Bureau of Chicago. She later worked as a suburban stringer for the Chicago Tribune and worked on Harvard Universitys study known as the Project on Human Development in Chicago Neighborhoods.
Michael Stanton
Mike Stanton is the Publisher of The Bond Buyer, responsible for all business operations for the newspaper, web site, and conferences. He joined The Bond Buyer in 1995 and is based in New York City.
