Treasury Year Bills Go At 0.150% High Rate

The Treasury Department Tuesday auctioned $25 billion of 364-day bills at a 0.150% high yield, a price of 99.848333.

The coupon equivalent was 0.152%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 4.98.

Tenders at the high rate were allotted 88.98%. The median yield was 0.150%. The low yield was 0.140%.

The bills have an issue date of March 7 and are due March 6, 2014.

Tenders totaled $124,383,889,300 and the Treasury accepted $25,000,922,700, including $154,889,300 non-competitive.

The Fed banks bought nothing for their own account in exchange for maturing securities.
