The Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board will offer a live webcast of its market outreach event with the Municipal Advisory Council of Texas on March 7 in Dallas.
This will be the first time the board has webcasted an outreach event.
The board and the council, also known as Texas MAC, decided to offer the webcast to make the event available to more municipal market participants, the MSRB said in a release.
The event, which will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, will address MSRB priorities, rulemaking initiatives that affect dealers and municipal advisors, efforts to improve market transparency and educational activities, the board said.

Seminar attendees and those who view the webcast are eligible to receive 1.5 hours of Texas Continuing Legal Education credits, the board said.
