Treasury Indexed 30-Years Go At 0.639% High Yield

The Treasury Department Thursday sold $9 billion of inflation-indexed 30-year bonds at a 0.639% yield, an adjusted price of 99.494180, with a 5/8% coupon.

The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.47.

All competitive tenders at yields lower than the high yield were accepted in full. Tenders at the market-clearing yield were allotted 29.92%.

The bonds are dated Feb. 15 and due Feb. 15, 2043.

Among competitive tenders, the median yield was 0.572% and the low yield 0.510%, Treasury said.

Tenders totaled $22,257,766,800 of which the Treasury accepted $9,000,042,800. Noncompetitive tenders totaled $23,086,800. The Federal Reserve Banks bought nothing for their own accounts.
